Because of her impeccable work ethic and the high quality of her work, I watched her progress from an excellent Customer Service Rep to an invaluable Projects Manager for our software development team. She was my right-hand woman in the design of many complicated software projects, UI testing, system conversions, data mapping, and the development of documentation, training, and marketing materials. With all these duties, I never had to wonder if they would be done accurately, with excellence, and within the deadline. Samantha Ewing worked for Information and Real Estate Services (IRES) from September 2005 through May 2018. She is an extraordinarily intelligent hard worker with a keen eye for detail and is unerringly thoughtful and fair. She did not waste time and was always seeking solutions for problems that we weren't even aware of. Due to this unusual skillset, Samantha quickly moved up in the company, eventually becoming a software tester. In this role, she was also required to prioritize system enhancements and fixes. This is a difficult task that requires careful consideration and impeccable judgment. In order to serve all customers, occasionally other clients (including internal staff) must wait to have their issue resolved. Samantha fairly weighed each issue, scheduled the resolution, and then communicated with each client. She did this so well that every client, even those who had to wait, knew they were important and that our company cared. Samantha was a reliable resource for us. I felt confident trusting her judgment and never hesitated to ask her advice. Ms. Ewing was extremely responsive and followed up on all issues. You simply never needed to remind her about deadlines—in fact, she often had to gently remind me that she was waiting on a required response from me in order to finish the task. I appreciated her candor and knew that I would always receive nothing but the most ethical response. Her integrity, knowledge, and responsible nature certainly made it easier to handle difficult situations when they arose. She is truly the best employee and I highly recommend her. I was sad to see Samantha move on but I know that she makes a wonderful UX designer. I'm incredibly proud of her.
